high pay but
high stressed, high skilled, many OT with 24/7 standby on-call
back to work
and then if 1 major mistake in the hospital (write wrong
medicine name for prescription, cause Table Death
in operation room, wrong clinical diagnosis...etc) will
need to write report, then kena panel interview by the singapore
medical council, kena warning letters, risk temporary
suspension or permanent revoke of practising doctor licence...
hey you are dealing with humans seek treatment here. how can a
doc prescribed wrongly for medication for patients? will u
still trust your doc if he/she prescribed wrong medication for you?
it is a serious case here, if the patient ate the wrong medication
and develop complication or worse case scenario, died, the doc will
need to be brought to court sued for negligence and lose his/her
license.
but that is not the problem facing doctors. they should not be
too concerned about this. they should be concerned on the patient,
not the cons of the job. medicine is a calling.
