Hi,I just got my accounting qualification. I am currently
looking for an entry level audit job in an accounting firm. But I
am not sure what the difference between an audit associate and an
audit assistant is. Are they the same with different titles?
There is a job opening in a medium-sized accounting firm which is
an audit assistant. I am not sure whether I should apply for it or
not. With an accounting qualification, I think I should start with
an audit associate. Am I right? If I am wrong, please let me know.
Thanks!
In the big 4 accounting firm, if you are a fresh grad, your
designation is audit assistant. your starting pay is between
2.2-2.4k. once you obtained your CPA after 3 years, your title
change to audit associate and pay increase till 3-3.5k range.
if you lead an audit team, your salary is anything between
5-7k.
