anyway supermarket cashier not really that easy to be..

can you memorize all the depts codes / price (not constance) / PLU codes and etc for each of the different fruits or veggies?

customer bring that to you.. you have to manually key in (no scanning) for many of such items

well it depends on how much $$ shortage

above $x / $xx you have to pay..

different retailers different maximum limit of shortage (u don't have to pay if shortage amount below this limit, if above that limit you have to pay)

anyway it's always the best to be accurate in the takings..

no shortages..
no excess..

know how to pack different items into each carrier bag

fast in serving customers / clearing queues..

fast and accurate in keying codes

friendly and efficient customers services

ISO standards and etc

and many more others

and nowadays there's "mystery shoppers" or etc visiting retail outlets / queuing at cashier making payment on the pretext of shopper

exactly, im doing one which is much of a bet cos got NO bASIC SALARY. But if you make one sales you get $30 bux, thats = to 6 hrs of work. Laughing
