Hi, I found my Spelling and Dictation exercise book from years
ago and there was one passage that was taken from a PETS
coursebook:
"Oh! Well, I knew that, of course! It was only an
example!"
But Adam never quite trusted Casandra's answers after
that!
He still felt quite strange about talking to a computer. It
would be easier, he thought, if she had a face. Not a real face, of
course, but a picture on the monitor to speak to.
Cassandra was excited about this idea, and tried out some
faces on the screen at once, using the computer's excellent
graphic.
But the first try had two noses; the second had eyes on
stalks! Adam collapsed in giggles.
Anyone happen to know what's the name of this story? I think it
was in the Primary 5 or 6 textbook. Pls let me know if you do!
