Is it an offence under the law to provide false information
(esp. on working experiences) in a resume?
For example, a person has been unemployed for many months but in
the resume, gives flase information that he was working under a
company during that period of time.
Will the job agencies or the interviewing companies check with the
past companies to confirm that the person was indeed working for
them? If the person is found to be giving false information, will
actions be taken against him?
