no.. it's pure carbon..

like i said, the structure of carbon molecules allow you to do amazing things with them, so you can have stuff like diamond which is hard, you can have graphite which is soft and slidy and used for lubricants, you can turn them into buckyballs for nano-tech...

ya, and the fuel we use now is not flammable at all. can use to put out fires from accidents involving hydrogen powered cars.

no, you are actually quite right, the cars that run on hydrogen will emit H2O, which then increases the usable water. But the present techology is such that it uses more energy to create hydrogen than it can provide. But China is actually doing lots of research on hydrogen and might utilise it one day as a energy source.

Hydrogen have lots of uses:

To make your margarine and other solid fats from your liquid fats (hydrogenation) although trans fat are sometimes produced.

As a zero-soot fuel and the most ideal fuel due to its highest energy output per unit mass.

Hydrogen (or more precisely hydrogen-2 isotope known as deuterium) as a source of nuclear fuel for fusion techonolgies although such technologies are still not harnesses effectively yet.

It is not really hydrogen in acids cos it is a proton (or those who study chemistry will know that it is really just a hydronium ion) that gives acids their acidic properties.

That's all about the uses of hydrogen that i can think of right now.

And yes, they used to fill airships with hydrogen, but after the hideous disaster they used helium instead.
