absolutely no no for insults. it accomplishes nothing more than hurting the students' self esteem and making him more defiant. (choice of gender form here is only for convenience)

caning - yes for the worst cases, to be determined by the principal or DM. and to be carried out in a proper manner.

in the end all forms of punishment should be fair, specific, consistent and immediate. the rationale and reason for it should be explained clearly to the student too.

maybe the students might still it is right after all, some students are the stubborn lots. They think they are right all the times.

tts inevitable. and tt is realli up to the teachers and counsellors to guide them. o cos in the end the decision has to be made by the student himself. if he chooses to be recalcitrant, he will have to face the consequences.

That is wat my teacher suggest about that incident, he said that maybe after all they should bring all the students who are misbehaving to the police for the law to judge them, such as if we were to scold with vugar or soemthing to teacher, the sch will charge them with insulting all this.

It is like not giving the young mind who thinks they know the world well a chance to see the truth, and throw them straight to the police, but who knows, the law is better than the sch's rule.
