While your phone wait inactive, it should clock about the same
time in deep sleep, which you check again using cpu spy.
That means its working fine now and your batt should not drain
as excessively as before.
To keep it this way, next time before you plug in to charge your
Note, wake your phone up first, then plug it in.
And when you want to remove the plug, wake up the phone first,
then put the plug out.
If you notice your phone go back to the 200mhz thing, just do
the above airplane, take battery out thing. It'll cost you a
minute, but at least your batt won't drain like no tomorrow.
There is no software fix for this problem, it is inherently
hardware issue between ICS and rx_wake_lan. You can flash all kinds
of roms and kernels, but it will still exist. It is affecting all
nexus, and gingerbread gone ICS galaxy devices.
My only advice is all galaxy S, S2 devices don't take the OTA
ICS update, and if you want to buy an android device, make sure it
comes stock with ICS.
