The thoughts for the day
A needle dropped
Sending silence through the room
A cool breeze
To take away the searing heat
A small lamp
Just enough to light up my table
A fountain pen
To express my thoughts and
feelings
A bright moon
Illuminating the sky with the shiny
diamonds in the background
A curious lizard
Popping its head and looking at what I’m
writing
Night has fallen
And people are returning from the
farm
To have their dinner
And to rest their aching arms
A day of hard work
Accompanied by the hot and unforgiving
sun
Let us all rest
And prepare for another tiring day to
begin
