We're still hanging on. Yes, captain.
MOST DEPRESSING NEWS have hit us, but we're not giving up. By the
middle of next year, we will have to move out of our lovely
bookstore unit of two years, i.e. 125A Telok Ayer Street. (Goodbye
to the tranquil park view.)
We have yet to find a perfect home to start anew; if you know of
any spaces up for rent, or if you have any suggestions at all,
please do tell us. We would like to thank everyone for your love,
concern and friendship for the past two years (for sitting down for
hours at a stretch and listening to our woes) and awesome, awesome
presents (ranging from lunch & dinner treats, chocolate
surprises, antique books, various models of cameras, classic
narnian books, a gumball machine, wooden flowers, bird calendars,
toy planes, tin toy houses, dvds, a book on cloudspotting, leather
stools, a television set... etc.!) WE LOVE ALL YOU CRAZY
PEOPLE!
BOOKSACTUALLY IS TWO !
By the end of the month, 29th November, we will be having our 2ND
BIRTHDAY, which, most sadly, will be our last birthday celebration
at this space / unit. Therefore, YOU MUST TURN UP FOR OUR BIRTHDAY
PARTY.
No excuses!
