Just wondering, what kind of poetry do you all write..? dark dank poetry, whimsical musings, clean tangy haiku, wierd visualisations, wordy writs, lovey lyrics or some other thing altogether..? (like some old frankenstein). Just like to know what you guys like... haha, pls invoke names of poets we should read if it helps.

I used to write some damningly depressive things, now I try to keep it level when I write. There are a lot of things I prefer to write about, but when I write I tend to write in a sort of cynical storytelling style, most of the time. Mr. Green

Hmm. I am not sure, depending on my moods I guess. But I like contemporary poems especially those with good images and a twist in the ending. Twisted Evil

Interesting topic Very Happy

I like philosophy, religion and am understanding different aspects of relationships and life. These are topics close to my heart so naturally I find myself writing about these things. Mostly, my poems are contemplative, like Liz, I seldom find it easy to write about upbeat topics - perhaps i use writing as a balm, a healing process to help me deal with things I'm trying to understand.

I write free-style poems. I write whenever inspiration strikes me, and somehow, the inspiration takes on very rhyming forms.
