Poets like to follow their inspirations. The difficulty they encounter is in finding the right expressions. One does well when one can skillfully express new ideas, setting forth what has never been said by anyone. But to really qualify as the best, one must be able to portray a scene that is difficult to describe, to make it come alive, as if it stood immediately before ones eyes, and moreover, to imply in it meanings infinitely beyond explicit words.
