the book clock was nice too, but the books there really chim, i only regconise sing to the dawn and tim burton's melancholy death of oyster boy there.

I wanted to buy a Moleskine book, but I balk at the price ($37). I'm still a student, and for that price I can buy lunch for an entire week.

I think I'll just stick to cheapo A'Zone notebooks for my poetry. Laughing

heh. for someone who can't abide shopping centers and the concept of retail therapy.... I sorta went berserk at BooksActually.

Spent $100 on mokeskines and assorted stationery. scary much?

That said, i love, love, LOVE how they have restored olivettis for sale. Methinks I'll be spending a considerable amount of disposable income there. -snicker

It is the quality of the poems that counts. But I guess it is still nice to have your completed poems recorded in a Moleskine book. Very Happy

Lets hope BooksActually will be around for a long time to come. It is not easy to run a bookshop in that kind of ulu location. Heard from Kenny that the monthly expenses are quite high too.

Since they have it on the 2nd Saturday every month, I will have it as our regular DPS (S) outing. I will try to attend every session although it may not be possible. If that is the case you guys will have to liaise among yourself especially when there is someone joining the session for the first time.

Of course I will also be looking into organizing our own reading session. Very Happy

Hmm... only books i can recognise are the Classic on top n Pullman Books Laughing (wanted to buy the Pullman Series Matchboxes sia) though n a few author Mr. Green

Yeah! Love the bookmarks (me always buying bookmarks since i almost always lost them at one time or another - Cross fingers not to lose them this time)

Damn...when I saw those typewriters, remind me of my first typewriter which I used to do my project reports.

I never buy bookmarks because I tend to lose them. I use some old name cards as bookmarks since i have stacks of them. Mr. Green

lolx me too last time i use typewriter too for projects lolx n even now also got typewriter to type envelopes Mr. Green

if i m outside n need bookmarks cannot find i use scraps of paper for example old receipts or cards i remember i use phonecards for booksmarks coz nice pictures Laughing

I used to collect bookmarks, hundreds of them. But I am not sure where they are now. Wink

I usually use a pen since I always carry one around.
