The man who was death SG After the outing my hand or rather my head was itching to write poem again... hmm...the last time i posted a poem here was more than 1 1/2 years ago?? but now here i am again to bring a poem inspired after i watched freddy vs jason. it's basically like starting from part 6 of the friday the 13th series and then jumped straight to freddy vs jason. He's Somebody He is somebody Not just someone with a machete The hockey mask, the tattered cloth Accesories for his undead body Camping in the crystal lake Where his watery grave awaits a lightning quake He can't wait, for his resurrection is as great as hate Or maybe he didn't need the sprites As an unexpected ring from an unexpected bell On the goat and it's horn he's still a kid to Bring him to life, take him to elm street "Let Jason have some fun", the satan decreed A scapegoat for nightmares' doing When it's over, guts will be spilling Blood will be raining, raining on the devil's party A deluge of flesh and gore So much that it seems to drown jason's core Oh Jason, haven't u heard of beauty and the beast? Don't you know that beauty always kills the beast? Your love for slaying now has to die But your hate for campers lives For as sure as the river reach the lake Back in crystal lake is where u'll be..... Did somebody rhyme well with machete? i'm so tempted to name this poem jason XI after the lastest part in the franchise
Bluesky_Liz SG I love the Friday 13th series, but I think up to III before all silliness broke out. He's still my favorite horror-slasher. Freddy doesn't stand a chance again Jason IMHO. Somebody does rhyme with machete. What else rhymes with machete? borcelli, spaghetti... Would be more fun if the poem is longer with more details. But that's the fan in me speaking too, I really all for more. I just think people who have not watched the movie will not understand the bit about elm street reference. Jason's name should've been introduced earlier, as there's a possibility people might take it that "He" refers to the Satan.
The man who was death SG I love jason more too...but freddy is the more creative one and freddy movies aren't as silly as jason's. The original ending of freddy vs jason had freddy winning, but the final ending ended just as well with a stalemate...
DeadPoet SG Try making it darker if you can. Beef it up with more images and details. If possible give it a twist at the ending and Devil1976 will surly goes ga-ga over it.
