nowadays its rare that i get inspiration for 2 poems in the span
of less than a week. But it coincided with my laptop being down, so
perhaps it does show that computers can sap your creativity.

Of course it could simply be that without a laptop, i got bored and
read a lot more than i usually do, thus there were more sources of
inspiration. Indeed, both poems were inspired by the books I read
recently because of my laptop crashing and thus denying me access
to the internet.
Anyways, here they are.
Inspired by Neil Gaiman's short story Murder Mystery.

Title: Death of an Angel
White feathers scattered,
Drifting in the wind.
Drops of black blood,
Stains sparking wings.
Crumpled beauty lies,
Shattered visage of peace.
Darkness glowing brighter,
Light of being cease.
Unspoiled love divine,
Adoring pollution of hate.
Lost innocence of heaven,
Hell's dawn mankind's fate.
