i speak mandarin and english to most of my friends cham a bit of
hokkien, melayu, cantonese and what have we..(ok that's singlish)
however, i tend to think first in english then translate
sometimes..
then it showed when i blabber stuff like this.. ' ba ni zi zi fang
jing wo de xie zi xiang yi xiang ' (put yourself in my shoes).. it
sounds funny to a chinese, but i guess we singaporeans are quite
used to it. we can link quite well.. we grew up rojaklingual.
