Participant 3 : [email protected] (I Hate
You
Not, Ma Chérie & The winds that gently softly
sigh)
I Hate You...
Not
I hate you not,
I swear I don't.
You infuse me with,
A warm fuzzy glow.
When I see you,
I close my eyes.
For to open them,
Means my heart will sigh.
And yet I cannot,
Tell you what I know.
And what I know,
Is that I adore you so.
It is my cowardice,
That drives me from you.
That I appear mean,
And melancholy isn't true.
But I cannot allow,
Myself to get near you.
Because I hate you not,
But I hate myself so.

Ma Chérie (My
Dear)
Wandering the streets of France,
Looking for that someone to dance.
Once upon a time, I remember clearly,
Friends we were, and very much dearly.
The feeling was right, but the time was not so.
I cursed fate as I let you go.
Knew inside, as u bid me goodbye,
This was the last time I behold you in my eyes.
The tears would fall but I didn't want you to worry,
Deep inside me, my feelings I bury.
Told you I was fine, that I didn't mind,
Within, I was so lost, it felt like I was blind.
Waiting, for your return, the agonies endured,
But, drifted apart we have, like two ships unmoored.
Against myself, mighty battles I waged inside,
As I fought to leave your image untarnished against the tide.
What is this tide which overwhelms me?
The feelings of blame for you that be.
While we may not be like what we once were,
I'll never let the blame lie on you here.
And so for us, it ends this way.
What of the future, I cannot say.
Maybe we weren't fated to be together,
but our memories I shall cherish, I swear, forever.

The winds that
gently softly sigh
The winds that gently softly sigh,
Seems to signal the end is nigh.
Once I had joy, once I had bliss,
All flows forth now like blood from a slit wrist.
The silence is golden, the silence is heavy.
The feeling of pain, it is a levy.
For that game which guys and gals play,
It can hurt, as clear as day.
I think of her, I see her smile,
For her I flew 10000 miles.
The twinkle always in her eyes,
The way she gave affectionate sighs.
It's funny how life can be,
Fall from light to darkness so suddenly.
One minute you grin like a lout,
Next moment you sob your eyes out.
When all is finally said and done,
That fact is still that she is gone.
But, whenever I think of you,
Always, a tear will fall, my dear French girl.
