Untitled Sorrow

Will you open your eyes
and see me once again?
You and I
happy in the sun
but who'd known we would
part under the stormy sea.

The waters rise
around you, slick and weary
pulling you away
and cutting me up
like a bad case
of Prozac deficiency.

Even as the sun still shines
people around me turn
to fish out of water.
Flopping.
Faint heartbeats
and a colourful bikini
lies washed up
on its own.

The plank I cling on
leads me back to
the beach of wine and lobsters
the crisp white tablecloth
and the smiling kids
gambolling around the palms.

The sky is blue
and all I can think of is you
and what you softly
mumbled as you sank,
down into Poseidon's depths
I'll see you around

Paradise

There's a place where dreams are real,
A place where hopes survive.
A place where no ones suffer,
We call that paradise.

In there you feels no pain,
And love rules all the way.
A place with no disaster,
Where friends are forever.

A place where you can be free,
A place for you and me.
A place where we could fly high,
We'll call it paradise.
It's a place we try to find

The Falling Rain

The gentle morning rain, clouding the sky of the breaking dawn.
The bleak sunset of yesterday has passed.
Grief, fatigue and joy to all affected.

Now alas, the gentle rain. Crying for the gentle souls who can weep no more.
Judgement has come.
What's done cannot change.

Now left is the living to grief for the dead and be thankfull they did not follow.

Think not of the painfull past.

But live for the future with the lost in your hearts.
Say good bye. Shed a tear and walk on.

Christmas
Here I wish, a long list of gifts I want
Right here I sat, writing to Santa Claus
Icy snowflakes falling outside
Sitting by the fire, I feel the christmas spirit around
Tinkles of bells rings sweetly n joyfully to welcome
Mistletoes on the ceiling, where lovers kiss for happiness
A crowd of people gathering to exchange gifts
Smiles can be seen, laughter heard and joys for the day...

Can there ever be peace on earth?
How can we sleep when people die?
Right under our noses, while we enjoy.
I truly wonder what Christmas is all about.

Shootings take place, along with earthquakes.
Trying to envision the future of our world,
Makes me shudder with bile rising up.
And maybe, maybe that's why....
Saviour was sent to wash away our sins.

Yielding to the music, dancing in freedom.

Closer and closer, he moved to me
His expressive eyes, irresistible they be
Recklessly flirtatious, desire in its lure

Suggestions so tempting as flower to a bee.
The games not over, for Ive yet to play

daily i pestered you,
for an answer i knew,
yet i want to hear you say,
that you will never stray.

days and weeks gone by,
you remain by my side,
months and years pass by,
i began to wonder why.

your stablity and charm,
turn into boredom and grump,
your caring concerns,
seems too naggy and stern.

eyes start wandering,
to other guys surrounding,
attention i craved,
satisfied by vain.

yet you silently awaits,
for my returning of late,
drunk and high i got,
you tuck me into cot.

i lay awake next day,
with a head felt dead,
i turned and saw you face,
sound asleep with grace.

gently i hold your arm,
you awoke in alarm,
asked again the question,
and you answer without mention.

She sits and stares at the plants and trees
Late afternoon sunlight warming wrinkled knees
Music floats gently in from a distance
Old time classics that continue a repetitive existence
While green fades to blue, blue to grey
A dull grey of rough calloused hands
And evenings spent in, mending blue work pants

The grey of palm lifelines traced boldly in soot
Draw right from wrong, evil from the good
His rough hands are gentle, his loving touch harsh
They caress and fondle, and beat her body to mush
Each blow is pain and love conjoint
Each grey bruise to drive home a point

She knows she was cherished; he wasn't being mean
He did it for her sake, so she does not sin

to the end of the world i walked,
