dreamykite SG Anyone has taken budget Airplane to Australia or Other places? e.g. Vietnam. Which airplane and how's the food and facilities?
dibilo SG budget = no food - unless u are talking about value air which serves u some lousy cheap food. tiger/ jet star all dont serve anything. if you wan, you got to buy it. seats are the same. not much space. if you have long legs, you wont be too comfortable sitting there for 4 hours.
ceecookie SG Vietnam yes,by Tiger Airway. The plane itself is generally in good condition(A320s) but obviously aged. Food?Budget airlines - no frills - no free food..The bottled water sold on board is daylight robbery at $3 for a For food i advise you just settle on cup noodle as it is only $4 and is the most value for money item.Sandwich and airlines' hotmeals are also at a exhobitent $7-8.
dreamykite SG How about anybody taken any budget plane to Australia? Can we bring our own food into the plane?
ceecookie SG If you want entertainment when going to Aussie,Tiger Airway offer a one-time-flight rental of a audio-video player loaded with movies/songs for $10. I dont think they like it,but we manage to eat some small finger foods quietly in peace
Plastic Bag SG I took Tiger, Air Asia and Jetstar before and Tiger sux most. Just sneak in food loh. People on the Tiger flight were passing around food to family members openly in front of the stewardesses also like that. They only sell overpriced tiny portions of nasi lemak.
