Which to choose?????

is it better to study at University of sydney for the Degree in aerospace management(at ATTC) or messey university(new zealand) for degree in aviation mangement (at SAA) if i want a to continue my career in aviation industry? Anyone care to share? Mr. Green

sorry if it doesn’t help, but you can get an fATPL at massey while doing your course, and have it converted to a singapore one. Correct me if i’m wrong but the australian ATPL isn’t recognised here but the nz one is.

Jus to share , the reason why the Australian ATPL is not regonised here is because they,CASA DO NOT regonise ours first..so we reciprocate.
usually the UK, CAA ,FAA, JAR license need only to do a conversion by sitting for the 9V Air Law. the kangaroos wan us or anybody else in the world to do a full course n conversion..
NZ always has BASA wz us n T4, Massey would be better as they hav affiliation wz SAA/CAAS but ATTC doesn't.
subjects are same but its all about BRANDING here in ur cert.

jus found out from sum of e younger pilots n engineers that MILCOM AEROSAPCE also has sum airline operations course that are FAA/CAAS approved.
subjects are more or less what u learnt at SAA..all those aviation subjects,air law,,aeronautics..navigation.etc

dun noe anymore..u can do a google or vist their website..im sure they hav one .

if you're working in SEA. CAAS is recognised.

if you're planning to work overseas, FAA.

unless you are planning on redesigning a whole new aircraft. what they teach in school is... hmmmm to tell u the truth, not much use.

accordin to what I see on my colleagues n 2nd officers' certs, the one from MILCOM aerospace is dual approved by FAA/CAAS.
which is why I asked MILK_MILK to google on tat school. Im sure they havsum course nex year..watever.
well jus to share in SEA,FAA is sought after in BKK,Taiwan,Japan & Korea.
HKG,SIN,M'SIA,VIETNAM are tuned to CAA .
nex woud le JAR n EASA n then we all be confused! ha ha
