hello =)

Tayysj SG

just discovered this forum. to the forum owner: ur forum needs more publicity/marketing/exposure. i'm sure there are many more enthusiasts. but perhaps your forum name might be too long? shld haf tot abt sgaviation or aviation alone..

anyhow to the pple here.. how many are real life pilots? or atc? or related? or haf experience? =D how abt the forum owner n moderators?

polarsnake SG

Yea I agree with you that this forum needs more publicity as it's getting a little inactive. I really love this forum and don't wish to see it so... 'dead'.

Anyway, I learnt flying during my days at the Singapore Youth Flying Club. I really wish to become a pilot when I grow up. Very Happy

Tayysj SG

grow up? how old r u now? anyway i guess its an expensive hobby.. aviation.. it’s like only for professionals in singapore.. so yeah can’t blame the inactivity

polarsnake SG

I’m now 17, going to be 18 in a few months time.

kopiosatu SG

i dun fly, i service.

donchoo SG

Same here. Very Happy
Where have the moderators gone too?

Pitot SG

moderator is MIA liao.

And to the poster who says grow up. Aviation is something u admire. Some ppl go gaga over trucks some over buses. Why can't we go gaga over aviation?

kopiosatu SG

erm, i think when he said grow up, he didn't mean it in a sarcastic tone.

Pitot SG

If its so, den my bad. Cool No hard feelings. Very Happy

kopiosatu SG

personally i don't see aviation as a hobby at all...

its a job, which i don't like Laughing

but it sure feels good to know stuff about the aircraft.

donchoo SG

I think u misinterpreted what Tayysj said. Laughing
Everyone here is pretty friendly, no clowns, no fools like those in FI's Bar.

donchoo SG

Hi kopiosatu, what line are you in? Very Happy

Pitot SG

Dont say it. Before those buggers come in. Laughing

Actually can call it a hobby if ur a spotter. Some pick up flying oso as a hobby. But its really to expensive in singapore. Wad more, you cant even get a full PPL here..

kopiosatu SG

aviation? Laughing

military aviation.

donchoo SG

Limited airspace.. i think you can get a PPL but it ends there. Wink

Pitot SG

I certainly hope tt we can revive this forum. Lets stay here n keep it going.. dont let it die down like in the past again.

If we can, perhaps can ask admin to do something abt the moderators..?

donchoo SG

If its in singapore, letme guess.. NSF? Twisted Evil

Pitot SG

Cannot ar.. Must go overseas to complete ur navigation course..

kopiosatu SG

nope. regular.

donchoo SG

Wah thats like pathetic.. can't we just fly in circles. Mr. Green
