Filipinos are not only pervasive in the service sector but also
in healthcare. Sometimes I don't understand why Singaporeans cannot
do the job of a nurse or radiologist. Not enough Sgporean
applicants? I think not enough effort to arrange jobs for sgporeans
more likely.
In general, I think they are a jolly bunch of people, very
friendly etc. However, they can get quite defensive when it
involves their countrymen. You can say they are not very objective
when it comes to matters of their countrymen. I for one, wouldn't
hesitate to f another singaporean if he screws up.
Indians, those educated ones can speak good english in general.
A few are very humble and with calibre, a good number of others
like to show off. Those who fall into the second category often
like to cover up their deficiencies by talking big.
