Hurray! CAAS has awarded the third licence for ground handling
operations at Changi Airport. Swissport has been awarded a 10-year
licence to operate passenger-handling, apron-handling and cargo
services at the airport, starting from 2005. We'll soon notice
Swissport's presence...
The question is, the duopoly enjoyed by SATS and CIAS may have come
to an end, but how successful will the new entrant be in snatching
customers away from the incumbents?
