What are your interesting encounters on the flights you've taken
so far?
During my flight to Helsinki on Finnair AY98/QF3195 (MD-11) late
last year, I was waiting for my wife to return from the loo when I
noticed her path was blocked by a Finn who had decided to get some
exercise.
He was standing on the aisle, facing the passengers, legs apart,
doing some half-squat exercise. He was like lowering his body such
that he was almost in a sitting position, then raising it, and down
and up again. Apparently he wasn't aware that my wife had
repeatedly said "Excuse me...". Finally he realised what was
happening, said sorry and gave way. She told me after that that
while she was out there, she had noticed some passengers giggling.
