Meanwhile, speaking of trompe
l’oeil, we just discovered a brilliant shoe maker
with a funny bone. Kobi
Levi will make you do triple takes while never
missing a step. His designs are tongue-in-cheek, and feats of
engineering at that. Flip through his newest installations and his
wildest of all time, just for kicks.

Watch your step! Those heels are kind of tall.

Porcelain pours liquid (tar?) from the heels… dare I say Tarheels?
And that, dear Indies, is the closest sports reference you will
ever get here. Baseball, yes?

The mini-me shoe, or as Kobi calls it, the Mother-Daughter shoe,
has one growing out the back end of the other.

Popeye the sailor man, buys shoes for Olive Oyl.

Highly hospitable, yet most likely high maintenance
pumps.

This is more of a low maintenance pump.

Now, one for the kids. Weeee!

Sling back sling shot. (Alright, it’s more of a sandle. So what.
Who cares?)

Kobi Levi has gone to the birds.

And the mighty duck becomes…

A beautiful swan!

Ending with these boggling boots. Made to seriously confuse
pedestrians.

Blog.
