Popular Taiwanese host Dee Hsu has dismissed the latest saga
involving her marriage.
After recent reports of a shaky relationship and domestic
violence, her husband Mike Hsu was spotted last Saturday clubbing
with a "hot young chick", the second such incident in the last
months.
But Dee commented at Monday's press conference for the Golden
Melody Awards that she and Mike had agreed before their nuptials to
not restrict each other's social life.
She said, "To be honest, going to a nightspot isn't something
serious. I knew he liked it. I did too, but now that I'm older I'm
worried alcohol would affect my skin. Nightspots are noisy and when
you talk to people, it's inevitable you have to go near. It's
nothing."
Mike and the unknown woman were seen conversing intimately.
This is not the first time Dee, a mother of two girls, has stood
up unquestionably for her husband. Their marriage has been the
subject of much controversy, with the good-looking Mike often
tracked by paparazzi. When this latest incident broke, she
immediately stated through her manager he has her full support.
