Hong Kong's celebrity power couple Tony Leung and Carina Lau are
said to be expecting their first child after countless attempts of
conceiving one.
It is known that the pair, who got married in a lavish Bhutan
wedding in 2008, has been actively trying to conceive a kid of
their own. Earlier this year, it was reported that Carina secretly
sought help and consulted one of Hong Kong's well-known doctors,
Clement Ho, famous for treating women who have problems
conceiving.
The 44-year-old actress is said to have underwent in-vitro
fertilization and is successfully pregnant now. According to
reports, Carina is currently resting and recuperating in her
hometown in Suzhou, China.
Fearing for the healthy and safety of her unborn child, she has
completely cut down on visits to the nightclubs, and vices like
smoking and drinking.
Three months into her pregnancy, Carina was recently spotted
shopping at Zhonghuan shopping center in Hong Kong. She was bundled
up in a scarf, donning face mask, shades, and a cap. The svelte
actress, who recently piled on 9kg due to her pregnancy, appeared
visibly swollen and hurried off in a different direction the moment
she spotted some paparazzi in sight.
