Elvin Ng. I have waited long to do this. Today, I plucked up the
courage to do this when I learnt from MSN network that you are one
of the actors gunning for some TV award which I could not be
bothered to remember its name.
You are without a doubt, the worst actor I have ever come across
on local TV. Thanks to you, I have decided to stop watching ANY
local productions, a move I had put aside for many years because I
did not believe in paying huge amounts for payTV, but have now
changed my mind. Your appearance convinced me that things will only
get worse, that mediacorp was actually willing to sign you up
confirms my suspicion that the end is near. Your inability to
emote, gives actors like Keanu Reeves, famous for his stone faced
acting, a run for his money.
You cannot make ammends. The damage has already been done. The
pain, the torture of having to see a glimpse of your expressionless
look, is etched deeply in my mind, reminding me everyday that we
will have to import talents from Malaysia and China to fill a void,
a void left behind by the last generation of professional actors
who actually took their jobs seriously enough to act that way on
the tube.
You are, in my opinion, the sign of things to come, when local
acting goes the way of menial jobs having no willing (and able)
takers from the local cohort. Be grateful that you are here to
