SINGAPORE: Welsh singer Tom Jones has rescheduled his
Singapore performance to April 1.
The 69-year-old sang just two songs in Resorts World Sentosa's
Compass Ballroom on Friday night before announcing he could not
continue performing.
In a statement, the Integrated Resort said the singer has been
diagnosed with Acute Laryngitis.
Under doctor's advice, he will remain in Singapore to recuperate
over the next few days.
Tom Jones and his management also apologised to concert goers for
the unexpected postponement.
Guests must produce their ticket stub from Friday's concert for
entry to the rescheduled event.
A full refund including the S$3 SISTIC booking fee will also be
available those who choose to give the concert a miss.
However, the S$1 handling fee will not be refunded.
