Sports ones, I had made a feedback to MCS bef to revive CityTV... They are still deciding on the broadcasting

PJ_Quek SG

Good loh, local dramas can be shown on both channels provided they don't clash. Pi Li Huo really ended up in 2200-2300 time slot, as expected. Hope to see less Taiwanese dramas on 1630 to 1830. Cartoons during the afternoon on Ch U perhaps. 'Wan quan yu le' can also be aired on Ch U, a lot of people missed the show.

PJ_Quek SG

Thanks, PM to me about their reply. City TV can be used to broadcast Sleague or rather K league. 2004's season, MCS said that S League to be aired on CNA because they wanted to bring S League to overseas, but the overseas version are showing the usual programmes, instead of S League.

If City TV is revived, I hope that they can bring in sports shows in English, Chinese, Malay ( sepak takraw perhaps ) and Tamil ( Cricket perhaps ).

sbst275 SG

Best is that there is a dedicated Sports Channel

Ch U targets the young and PMEB

Ch 8 is more for the majority

sbst275 SG

OK... Majority have actually ended recordings like Ren Ren Ai Li...

Poopie-Head SG

no more Ren Ren Ai Li? Awww... too sensitive? Laughing Mr. Green

it's quite an interesting programme, but many times the 'main' topics need more indepth discussion. sometimes i suspect they talk about the topics just for the sake of it. But still, it is nice to see any discussion about sensitive topics on TV.

sbst275 SG

I think so... In fact, it can cause a lot of prob like the Huang Na incident... But then, it may still be temp though as MediaCorp is trying to clear the ordered TVB drama as...

The TVB contract has been transffered to MediaCorp - Meaning Channel 8 can broadcast also
