HOLLAND V star Xie Shaoguang has seen the light.
Shaoguang plans to leave Singapore for a simple, spiritual life in
Johor Bahru.
The 43-year-old actor will retire from showbusiness after his
contract with MediaCorp expires in September next year, reports
Lianhe Wanbao.
He then plans to leave Singapore for a simple, spiritual life in
Johor Baru.
There, he will devote his time to 'spiritual studies' and charity
work like operating homes for abandoned animals, he tells the
daily.
He and his friends have set up a home - where they have taken in
more than 200 stray dogs and 100 stray cats - and are planning to
build a second one.
Will the award-winning actor turn to monkhood one day?
'This is up to fate,' he says.
