"When I heard that I was invited, I told my manager I'm so excited,
because I can now come as a guest instead of having to queue up to
come in. I first came here with my parents for an open house when I
was in primary school. I don't think I'm going to kiss the new
Prime Minister. The kiss that I planted on Mr Goh Chok Tong's cheek
when I was crowned the Star Search winner in 1988 was a
spur-of-the-moment thing. I was much younger then, and he wasn't
the Prime Minister yet. He still remembers the incident though,
because Mrs Goh Chok Tong mentioned it to me when I met her at a
function sometime back.''
- Actress Zoe Tay, 36, watches as fellow star Fann Wong gets a kiss
from Mrs Goh. With them are Senior Minister Goh and film-maker Jack
Neo.
