Sightings can mean telling people here what you saw and you don't necessarily need pictures right? Of course it will be better if there's pictures..

let me put it in another perspective for u...

if going by what u are saying is true....

then i can give u an entire timeline of what i saw...

1989: i saw a celica with those old flip lights... sorry no pics... too young to operate a camera

1991: saw a countach.... sorry dad still wun let me operate camera....

1994: saw an rx-7... sorry my picture is in the album... lazy to scan...

1996: saw a ferrari... eh overexposed... sorry no pic....

so and and so forth until year 2007....

seriously.. pple shld adhere to the NPNT rule...

pic can be those professionally taken or of some older date...

sightings can refer to those that are recently taken... Wink

Whilst I think the NPNT rule should generally hold true, and sightings should be backed up by photo’s and not just people saying ‘I saw 2 Ferrari’s yesterday, 1 Lamborghini Gallardo 3 days ago blah blah blah’, I think sometimes its alright to post a sighting without a picture. If you happened to see a new Audi R8 here, or perhaps somethin as rare as the Enzo out on the streets, should be a valid post to say you saw it

I also agree with the necessity of posting photos. Posting details of the car from the LTA website doesn’t really prove anything since people can easily go to the older threads to copy the details and paste.

A good guide would be:

1st: Take photo of sports car
2nd:If the identity of the car is not obvious - i.e Dunno if real E55 or E class with AMG Kit - check the plate at ONE Motoring.
3rd Razz ost the pictures here - with the number plates blanked.LTA details are not needed.
