Everytime friends asked me to go out but dont know where to go.
Shopping always went to orchard road, very boring.

there are places which people don't usually go - the less well known places.

but i think one of the best things to do in singapore is to hunt for good food.

No need to contact, just go lim chu kang. There got fish farm, quail farm etc... drive around there and follow other people's car. Quite a number of people going there now.

My suggestion is not to take bus or anything..just walk

Once i toured around Geylang, not onli those brothels, but surrounding shops from Lorong 20 onwards..there are many old shops selling odds and stuff, plus some old shophouses converted into mini Buddhist temples..got very mystical look around them...

How about those aquariums or antique shops along the road? Once I saw this $388,888 red arowana on display, i kid u not.

Lim Chu Kang is also a good place to explore, especially along Jalan Batera and CCK Road...

Find a friend who has loh.

If not, then only choice is by cycle liao. Or maybe see if possible to book a taxi uncle for 3/4 day. 4 people share maybe still can afford.

Unfortunately, bus never stop at those farms.
