i wun "kou shi xin fei" one, so if i think i really dun need any present, then i will say it. otherwise....i will keep my mouth shut.

even the birthday boy/girl says dun need, i may still get a birthday card & a small gift as a token...coz i feel very odd to see him/her on the birthday empty-handed.

I keep telling them not to bother.
Cos i don't want to get rubbish.
I mean, i've got enough body shop stuff as is. I don't need white musk talcum powder to be added to the collection. It's like.. never mind i'd rather they just turn up to the party and have fun together. Well..t hat's what i think anyway.

Well.... doesn't it peeve you off when you spend lots of effort to buy people their presents. Like... this girl who gave me the candle, her birthday was like 3 days before mine. I gave her this really cool handbag and matching earrings. Very personal stuff which i knew she would like. What did i get? Some household rubbish.. oh cool.. i love that grotesque candle. Ya know.. one year on, and our friends are still gossiping about the friggin candle. Cos everyone else knows not to give me this kind of thing. Sigh..
