House of Flying Daggers

Basically i wont see a second time or buy the VCD... Plot is not well thought out lor... not beri good fighting shots or impressive special effects... the ending... aiyoh... sux...

FireIce SG

most guys will watch it for the Zhang Zi Yi moaning part

jus like Hero

DXuan SG

Went out with 2 groups of friends on the same day, movie times were 12.20 and 12.30. I bought house of flying daggers but decided to go into i,robot instead. Then later on those in House of Flying Daggers came into I,robot to find us lol... Much as I suspected it sucked really badly... Mr. Green

Troy437 SG

Heng….... I choose to watch ‘I,Robot’ and not Frying Daggers…I mean flying daggers.

BeEtHoVeN SG

I, Robot nice or not ??

Axelheat755 SG

I, Robot is better as the plot is better thought out n effects are better ( of course la.. Hollywood leh )

Definitely worth the $8.50.

Axelheat755 SG

moaning part? never see leh....

orrrhhh... no have la... oni got moaning sound kekeke Embarassed

DXuan SG

I,Robot is shiok like Axel said, nice graphics. But if you really dig sci-fi might as well read Isaac Asimov's books. He's the guy who got me to know about The 3 Laws of Robotics. Nice stories from him too Smile

BeEtHoVeN SG

lol .. wat are the titles of his bks ?? Smile Smile
mi a bit lazy to search for his bks ...

DXuan SG

Alamak I cannot remember a lot of his stories because I read those in primary school. It was a story collection of some of his better works. The one title I remembered was Robbie. Well anyway his robot stories are cool so there Razz Sorry I can't be of much help I feel ashamed Embarassed

BeEtHoVeN SG

no problem ... nothing to feel ashamed about ... mi got one very nice sci-fi bk ... "The Tranquility Wars" by Gentry Lee ( bought the bk coz i saw my fren's name inside, upon reading den like it alot Mr. Green )

DXuan SG

Oh maybe I'll check it someday thx for the intro Smile

Patrik SG

Total waste of my money...onli recommend to girls who are swooning over Takeshi Kaneshiro..otherwise there are better ways to spend ur $8.50

Axelheat755 SG

hehe next time u can check back here for movie reviews Laughing

wuming78 SG

the chinese title and its english translation are totally different! and the chinese title suggested something else that happened historically, while the english suggested something out of gu long's novels.

weird...

M©+square SG

Is it similiar to Hero?

Axelheat755 SG

As compared, Hero will be nicer lol. At least hero got Special effects and good fighting scenes.
