luckily i was commuting by bus (and foot. damn the heels.......)
today
for those curious where i had hi-tea buffet, it was swatow at
TPY
i had expected more teochew style stuff (as the restoran is a
teochew cuisine based restoran) but basically they serve canto dim
sum for 90% of the dishes for the hi-tea buffet
and pretty good for the price
and about 30 dishes
$16.80++
the servers carry a huge tray and go table by table and ask
whether u want tt thing or not, and how many pieces
quite orderly and makes u excited abt wats coming next
but if u want to repeat order, u must wait for the tray to come
around again
of cos, the pop dishes run out bery fast
got one teen girl chased the server around the restoran to get
wat she wants. sho cute.
