How far can Everton go?

Everton remain unbeatened by beating Portsmouth 1-0. The visitors snatched all 3 points with a 79th min Cahill header-goal. Everton is now 16 points in the League table, holding an amazing 16 pts, just 1 point off Chelsea and 3 points off Arsenal.

The club have not enjoyed such a good start to the seasion for 26 years.

The question is, how far can Everton go? How long can they last? And what position will they end up with? Champs League? UEFA Cup? Or just pure luck so far?

at the end of this season, they won't qualify for Champs League or UEFA Cup but at least finish the season with pride. but more importantly, they will show the world that a successful team is about 11 like-minded players and not one little Judas.

my fingers remain crossed for the rest of the season for Moyes. Smile

From my bottom of my heart , hope they go far , further and furthest , but mid table team is always mid table team , their form wouldn't last !

They have a really small squad , that's their biggest problem , the season has about 30 games to go , injury will hit them hard !

I like their determinations to win , luck played a part !

H/r, kudos to them for out-performing themselves thus far...given tat fat-boy Roon hv deserted them - yeah, so much 4 "once a blue, always a blue" huh!?.

On the plus-side, the $$ they've got fm MU will help to strengthen their squad further comes January. While they say the ball is round, I'll be dumbfounded if they are in the top-6 at the end of the season Mr. Green

Spurs has a problem scoring whereas Everton's defence is solid, plus they have the players to hurt the opposition at setpieces n counterattacks.

As long as key players like Gravesen, Marthyn n Weir maintain their form n fitness. They might go thru a slump of not winning, but beating them is no easy task as well.

The following 3 matches r not so tough after all. Villa is highly inconsistent n thier midfield's ability to support their strikers r highly questionable. Also they r susceptible to the lapse in concentration in defence as seen by the goal conceded against WBA from a freekick as an example.

I foresee them getting at least 3 points from the next 3 matches, perhaps even 4-6 points with a bit of luck. Getting all 9 points will b a dream come true n a nightmare to a certain Monsier Mourinho. Mr. Green
