Spoilers...you have been warned!
This is the book which WB would have NO right to cut too much. The
battle at hogswarts would be damned nice to see. Also, We learn
that Dumbledore isn't prefect(Yes! I know many people have been
saying this), but one thing good about him is he can learn from his
mistakes, correcting himself, until he become the Dumbledore that
fans adore and loves.
Also, let's shut those fanfic writers THINKING they are not writing
out of characters to rethink their stand. Many authors jump to
conlusion too fast.
Let's see...yes dumbledore did manulipalte several events, some
work out fine, some end up in lots of trouble. BUT, he have his own
reason to do so, and he did admit being wrong at times( which many
fanfic writers fail to take in account)
Also, those idiots who think Dumbledore has no rights to push harry
towards his destiny should also rethink thier stand. Harry IS a
Holocrux...so unless they think Harry is the kind of person to
abandon his friends in the wizarding world, Harry has to face his
destiny for the sake of others.
Also, Most of Snape's are purely done as ordered by dumbledore,
which means those fics about protraying evil snape is
kinda...off.
The death Toll for this book is damn high, around 50 plus
characters...far more than what JK rowling said...which is only
2???
One weak thing about this book is...the characters' death somehow
fail to make a emotional impact on me.
When Sirius died, It really affect me emotionally. Mainly due to
the fact that someone close to Harry was killed. But the death that
affect the most is dumbledore's death. Near the end of the book, it
is very intense when we started to see Dumbledore starting to
become weaker and weaker...all the way until the faithful moment.
You know Dumbledore is going to die, but you don't want that to
happen.
With the last book, I find the battle to be a little bit
chaotic...I know a battle is meant to be chaotic but...it's hard to
make sense of what is going on...and the death seem too sudden to
make a large enough impact.
Only thing I hope for is JK Rowling to write a EXTENDED version of
the book. This book NEED to be longer with better pacing...and give
us more details and to really make the deaths to be...err...more
emotional.
Sad thing is we already KNOW the death...Sign. But Harry Potter is
a fun read nonetheless.
