Washington, July 5 : It seems that the Harry Potter franchise has
set British actress Emma Watson up for life, for she insists that
she never has to work again once the hit film series comes to an
end.
The 17-year-old, who plays Hermione Granger in the Potter movies,
said that when she auditioned for the first film as a 10-year-old,
she had no idea that the franchise would make her so rich.
Watson, who now earns a reported 4 million dollars for each Harry
Potter film, confessed that she had enough money never to have to
work again.
"Let's be honest, I have enough money never to have to work again,
but I would never want that," Contactmusic quoted her, as
saying.
Watson also said that agreeing for three more films was not an easy
decision at all.
"People underestimate what a big decision this was for me. This is
the next three or four years of my life. Being in the spotlight and
the lack of freedom are the sort of things that held me back," she
said.
