welcoming back Kieron Dyer!! woooo-hooooo~
its refreshing to c some players finally getting the recognition they deserves. players like Gareth Barry, Joey Barton, Jonathon Woodgate, etc.. even Phil Neville receive a call-up after so many yrs in the exile.

i m quite pleased with McClaren's squad tis time but is not really certain that Shaun Wright Phillips should b in the list.

wats ur view?

798 SG

yeah, Dyer deserve the call.

SWP has not proven his mark to be in england squad, the coach should have call Walcott in instead. Mad

monoslayer SG

Walcott is not performing. he should learn the ropes from U21. calling SWP is ridiculous.. how many times have u seen him play?

JENAS RULED OUT OF SPAIN CLASH

Jermaine Jenas has pulled out of the England squad ahead for Wednesday's international friendly against Spain at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been struggling with an ankle injury picked up in the 3-0 Barclays Premiership defeat at Arsenal on December 2.

He made a goalscoring return in the January 27 FA Cup win over Southend - but encountered further ankle problems in the midweek Carling Cup semi-final setback at the Emirates Stadium.

He missed Sundays Barclays Premiership defeat at the hands of Manchester United after having a scan on the injury before kick-off.

United striker Wayne Rooney is also doubtful for the game after limping off in the second half at White Hart Lane.

"We will assess him on Monday morning but he may be doubtful for the England game on Wednesday," said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

obi good. ever since judas jenas went to spurs, we hardly c him performing to the high level he set last time.

798 SG

ben foster is who? how come he get recall?

stellazio SG

callng hargreaves is even worse, hargreaves will not be playing.

Bontakun SG

Dyer is central mid? Def mid? Or Atk mid?

monoslayer SG

manure's young keeper. now on-loan at watford. he is very promising n talented. definitely one for the future. better den kirkland n carson IMO.

i used to doubt his inclusion in the england squad until i seen a couple of watford matches.

monoslayer SG

his best positions r attacking midfielder, right winger n the hole behind the strikers. best to unleash him in the later part of the game when the opponents r tired.

Bontakun SG

Ooooh...

Den muz be da CM 01/02 dat claims both Gerrard and Dyer as defensive mids. Mad

monoslayer SG

i regard gerrard as a complete midfielder. can attack n defend. an all-rounder.
dyer started out as a right winger in his early career n eventually being preferred as a attacking midfielder.

Bontakun SG

Yar, Gerrard is good. I remember when playing that old CM game, I dun even put Lamps inside. Alwaes use this 2 as my central mids. Razz Mr. Green

monoslayer SG

we toking abt real life, u toking abt CM.
-_-"'

Bontakun SG

Hahaha, even in the real world, in the past hor its Scholes, Gerrard, Dyer, Butt and Lamps. Dyer was more obviously talented compared to Lamps at that time. However, being injury prone has disturbed Dyer's advancement. Its a sad thing with many English players, being injury proned. Neutral

WHat’s the result for the ENG vs SPN friendly?

SexyChin SG

spain won 1 - 0 from a scorcher from Iniesta. Mr. Green

Anyway, is it too late to ask?
