Sometimes, forumites take pains to write their posts ....
but the posts dont sound pleasing to the moderators.

So should the moderators simply click Edit Button
to remove the posts?

i dunno lehz
if the contents arent gd..
tt`s wat mods are for...

paperchicken SG

You mean delete the entire thread ? Rolling Eyes

InnoHippo SG

but if they are good but not pleasing to mods? Rolling Eyes

InnoHippo SG

oh yah ... and delete entire thread also Wink

FireIce SG

if Mod feel that the content is not suitable for display in the forum, they are able to edit

but pls make the changes in another color (i use blue usually)

and indicate the reason for the change.

BaByBoY SG

then all i can say is they post at the wrong place..
should haf expected the outcomes mahz

FireIce SG

deletion of thread is not encouraged.....unless it's repeat thread....

if topic starter PM mod to ask him/her to delete thread, pls ask for a good reason.....
the thread shd be closed and not deleted
this is to let forumites learn to be responsible for wat they post
not happy happy open thread, tok rubbish then not happy then ask Mod to delete.....

paperchicken SG

If nobody is interested in the thread I will delete it after a few days lor. House keeping. Thats why I dun like to post in Chit Chat nowadays. Its too rojak oredi. Rolling Eyes

InnoHippo SG

dont delete them ... just close them will do ..... Wink

Depends on each mod's style. So far all the threads I delete are started by myself. Rolling Eyes

Maybe a repeat lor or similar thread somewhere else. The reaction of forumers are unpredictable. Some threads turn out to popular like this one some are duds no response one. You never know until you post. Rolling Eyes

InnoHippo SG
