HAIL, HOLY QUEEN
The Gospel Truth About MARY
Mother of God, the New Eve, the Ark of the New Covenant and
the Queen Mother
The dogmas proclaiming Mary as Mother of God, as
the new Eve, as the Ark of the New Covenant and as
the Queen Mother may make sense to many Catholics, but can they be
explained to questioning Protestants through scripture? We find
Mary in the New Testament but do you know we can also find
scriptural references to Mary in the Old Testament? How should a
Catholic respond to questions like:
About Robert Oh
Bob 'Scott' Oh is fondly nicknamed by family
members as the Scott Hahn of Asia Pacific. A
"Bible-believing" Protestant, he is interested in facilitating
church unity by helping both Catholic and non-Catholic Christians
to understand the scriptural support for Catholic doctrines. For
most Protestants – the teachings about Mary are
superstitious nonsense, idolatry, and blasphemy. However, Bob
begs to differ and he tells a compelling account with a fresh
perspective about the biblical support to many of the Catholic
teachings regarding Mary. Bob and his wife Kim (coincidentally
Kimberly Hahn is Scott Hahn's wife) have 3 teenage
children.
Never before in Singapore has
anyone found a better, more comprehensive talk on the mountain of
evidence – both historical and biblical – behind the belief in
Mary.
