I like mixing with different denominations of Christians. I have
no taboo, I go to different services. If you talk about
Protestants, they don't even want to go to services conducted by
other churches. I think this is very sad, 'cos different
denominations have different things to offer. Even the Tridentine
is an experience for me.
As you probably know, I have love for the Jewish faith. And by
attending Catholic events, I could see the 'vestigal' traditions
passed down from Judaism. So they have readings from the Torah over
the whole year. You guys have it too, one from the OT and one from
the NT? Protestants don't have it. So Catholics can rightfully
claim that every Catholic is reading the same thing all over the
world on a particular Sunday, just like the Jews
And by attending the Tridentine, I could see what Christian service
(Mass) is and should be - the sacrifice of Christ. In comparison,
the holy communion is dumbed down in Protestant churches, and
communion in mega churches seems like a joke to me.
they wear veil? even during the Jan Tridentine, I don't see young
girls wearing veil leh. Mostly older women.
Hmm .. maybe sgmacross likes those kind of girls lah.
