sircool SG just a thought i had during assumption ... what if there really isnt an afterlife .... i guess i've been questioning my faith coz of this and i dont want to be confirmed if by then i still have this doubt ... what if your only purpose here on earth was to mate reproduce and pass down your genes .. and all the weird stuff that happened can actually be explained by science(big bang so on so forth).. after all it really is difficult to imagine that God could create everything so intricately... from molecules to atoms to cells ... i know that we cannot possibly comprehend anything to do with God because he is infinite and we are merely finite .. so what i guess im asking for is if any of you guys have any "proof "that there is an after life
SingaporeMacross SG if you believe that our minds are finite, our understanding is incomplete, how can you trust that human science will ever provide all the answers to the mysteries in the universe?
maven2 SG I guess I havent really thought about it. Mainly because it doesn't really matter to me. I know many people perservere this and that just because they look towards their Salvation in the afterlife. Personally, Salvation is the least important thing for me as a Christian. Facts are: 1) God is God 2) God loves me. That's all that matters to me. And because He has been good to me and loves me, I want to be the same as him to others. And that is what it means for me to be a Christian. Salvation belongs to God. There's nothing I can do to change that. But what I can do, I change.
the Bear SG if there isn't, then what did it matter? if there is and you made the assumption that there isn't, aren't you in deep doodoo? but that aside, that is what is called "faith" we not only believe there is, we KNOW there is
