my parish... Church of the Holy Family.
contemporary clean architecture but with none of the blaring flaws
of other modern designs. in all respects, the two-storeyed church
hall is free of distractions and helps me concentrate my attention
on the altar, since it is the only decorated piece in the church
hall apart from the single large installation of stained
glass.
no fewer than four choirs (maybe more), one of which I am a member:
Genesis II. we tend toward contemporary spiritual music, by
preference using the piano, though the church electone can
sometimes be our primary instrument. we shy from configuring our
electone to anything other than organ settings. charismatic music
is also way off our lists, considering that their energetic nature
reduces its spirituality.
