There was this legend about the origins of coffee
Coffee originates from Arabia
Legend has it a goatherd was tending his flock of goats when he saw
his goats chewing on some strange black beans, and soon afterwards,
acted as if they were dancing. He tried some, and was soon dancing
with his goats too.
One day, when he was fast asleep, Allah appeared in his dream and
commanded him to boil these beans and serve them to the people
praying in mosques. Allah was angry that instead of hearing their
prayers, he was hearing their snores as they fell asleep.
So then, qahway, or coffee was born!
