Firstly, I also do not like modern designs.
Secondly, this looks like a very big energy sink. If my impression
is correct, then the architects have done everyone a big
disservice. They need to plan for the day when crude oil hits
US$200 a barrel, which is something that will happen way before the
lease on the church land runs out.
