SingaporeMacross SG A little warning... that web page is not in line with the Magisterium. You may ignore most of it there.
vince69 SG Honestly, I really can't differentiate between what is in line with the magisterium and what is not. My apology.
vince69 SG found another one, did a search by Mass by Language, and this one comes out as the only one under the Latin category. Requim Mass 8:00pm (Latin) 1st Wednesday of the month Church of St Teresa
SingaporeMacross SG That one is mostly in English. Only certain parts are in Latin. I believe what we really are referring to is the Traditional Latin Mass or Tridentine Rite, which legally, is impossible to find. The nearest one is in Hong Kong.
sand king SG Tridentine Mass, yup, dang, so far? I hope there will be more in Singapore in the future
Icemoon SG Yah .. I went with my friend to Holy Cross. The priest was really young. What's so secretive about it? I thought it is legal since it was conducted within the church building. The priest really dun face the congregation one. Most of the time he is chanting in latin and "playing around" with the "equipments". And I don't remember there was any sermon. But he conducted the eucharist. Nice experience.
SingaporeMacross SG It was legal only for those two days because the Bishop gave permission. Without permission, the Tridentine Mass cannot be celebrated. The only reason the two Masses were allowed is because there was a requirement for it to be kept in low profile.
sand king SG yupps i went for the holy cross one, if im not wrong he mentioned that the teached in a Chij school before
Icemoon SG Of all places .. they chosen Holy Cross. Must be the church very ulu. Anyway the priest was really young. He could be mistaken as an acolyte (sp?) if he dons their costume.
