MediaCorp artistes hit the green to drive charity fund
raiser
SINGAPORE: Fifteen MediaCorp artistes hit the green on
September 11 to raise funds for the Association for Persons with
Special Needs.
The artistes are part of the Celebrities Sports Club, which
organised its first Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, and among
them were Zheng Ge Ping and Constance Song.
Participants of the tournament will not only get to play golf with
the local stars, but also stand a chance to win a Porsche Cayman S
and Corum watches.
The club hoped to raise up to S$100,000 for the cause from a series
of activities, including a charity auction late Thursday, which
will feature items like vintage wine, fine watches and art works by
students from the beneficiary.
Corporations chipped in for the cause and MediaCorp was among the
sponsors by giving a 4,000-dollar sponsorship.
